This year our monthly meetings will contain a show ‘n’ tell where members are encouraged to bring in things to show off, explain, and discuss. This “Blings ‘n’ Things” will be themed for each month for a specific topic, but members are encouraged to bring in anything they would like to show or share. Below is the list of themes for 2024:
- January – “Old Goals/New Goals” – What (ham radio) goals did you have last year that you met, and what are your new goals for 2024?
- February – “Mic Mastery Madness” – Display and discuss your favorite microphones and how they enhance your communication.
- March – “Soldering Superstars” – Showcase your homebrew or modified equipment, emphasizing your soldering skills.
- April – “Vintage Voltage Voyage” – Display and talk about your vintage radio equipment, sharing the nostalgia of ham radio history.
- May – “Contest Conquest” – Share your contesting setup, strategies, and any awards or memorable moments from competitions.

- July – “Propagation Prowess” – Discuss your strategies for dealing with changing propagation conditions and optimizing contacts.
- August – “Emergency Comms Extravaganza” – Showcase your emergency communication setup and discuss its role in community service.
- September – “Satellite Sensation” – Dive into your satellite operations, showing equipment and sharing tips for successful satellite contacts.
- October – “SOTA/POTA Spectacle” – Detail your experiences with Summits On The Air (SOTA) activations, including gear and breathtaking views.
- November – “Ham Shack Showcase” – Give a tour of your ham shack, highlighting unique features and organizational tips.
